Teaching Plan
A. Curriculum
The curriculum in Philippines use K-12 curriculum, the lesson plan are provide some information like resource, methods, tools, assessment, assignment, quiz and another information. For module that use for student have been adjusted to the curriculum.
here my lesson plan that use in my teaching practicum.

Competency:
I.
Objectives
At the end of the lesson, student should have be able to:
a. Differentiate
between mechanical waves and electromagnetic waves.
b. Mention
the example of mechanical waves and electromagnetic waves
c. Mention
the wavelength and frequency of different type of electromagnetic waves.
d. Have
confidence in answering the questions

|
1.
Preliminary
Activities
1.
Routine
2.
Review
|
Check
the attendance, cleanliness of the classroom, proper seating arrangement of
the student (collect the assignment if there are any)
Ask
the student to inform what are they know about wave
|
2.
Motivation
|
Ask
to the student does the sunlight need a medium to get to earth
|

Lesson
proper
1.
Presentation
|
The
teacher presents a video which is example of mechanical waves and
electromagnetic waves without categorizing the kind of waves.
|
2.
Discussion
and analysis
3.
Fixing
skills and guided practice or application
4.
Generalization
|
Discuss method
1. Ask
some student to explain the differences of the wave by the presentation.
2. Ask
the student to count start from 1 to 4 and make a group based on their
number.
3. student
have to search for other examples of
mechanical and electromagnetic waves.
4. Write
down the frequency and wavelength of the waves
5. Ask the student to arrange the kind of waves
from the longest wavelength to the shortest at electromagnetic waves.
6. Ask
the representative of the group to explain the discussion result and compare
with another group.
Through the
demonstrate the teacher will ask student to:
1. Ask
to the student to draw the the wavelength
of waves.
2. Mention
some application of mechanical and electromagnetic waves.
The teacher ask some
volunteers ( 2 or 3 students) to make a conclusion
based on the student’s
conclusion, teacher will make a generalization.
|
IV.
Assessment
Based on the demonstration,
answer the following question
1. List
down 2 or 3 differences of the mechanical waves and electromagnetic waves?
1. Gamma
rays
2. X-rays
3. Microwaves
4. Ultraviolet
5. Infrared
are sunlights considered
as an electromagnetic wave or not? If
not an electromagnetic wave, what medium transport the vibrates and draw how it
travel from sun to the earth
